Fall/Winter school events

Moving to Indy has it perks.  For one, they start teaching band in 6th grade instead of 7th so we jumped on the opportunity and let Morgan choose an instrument to learn.  She wanted to follow in her sister's footsteps and play the flute.  They had a concert in the fall and another before Christmas.  What a difference a few months makes in their tone.  They did a great job.  

 Malia also a  book parade.  She had to choose a book and turn it into a float so I packed up the little's and headed to the school.  Having 2, two and under always leads to interesting outings.

 But they sure are cute!

 Since we've made a couple of floats in Utah for the county parade, we knew exactly how to do it.  Malia chose a Junie B. Jones book and she created this scene with a little help.

 She was very proud of her work.  She did a great job.

Kaders 7 months

It doesn't take much for him to get around anymore.  He doesn't sit still for very long and trying to get him to stay in one place is like herding cats.  This has turned into a 2 man job.  One snapping pics as fast they can while the other is distracting with a noisy toy.

 Oh and now he pulls himself up on the bed, so no more easy access with the bassinet, wah!

Kaders is 6 months

Nicknames always change and Kay Kay turned into Kaders.  This 6 month old is always on the move.

 At this point, monthly pictures are getting a little ridiculous.  

 Oh well, he's cute anyway.

Kenzie's 14!!!

And just like that, she's no longer our little girl!  She has grown up to be a beautiful young woman and I just can't believe how much she has grown, inside and out.  This was an even birthday so she was able to have a party and being new to the area thought it was a great way for her to get to know kids in the area better.  

 We set up a photo booth and the girls just went for it. I didn't see any of the pictures until the next day.  Some of them were pretty hilarious.

 Being a teen party, I didn't really plan anything because all they want to do is hang out.  So I was prepared with food and let them be creative.  They decided they needed to out back and practiced cheer leading lifts.

 Then went to Sky's car and rock out to some tunes.

 Literally crammed everyone in the car.  It was pretty awesome.

 These girls were great.

 And we couldn't forget the cutest of party!  Figured he needed a unibrow-stache.

 She really wanted an ice cream cake but I really didn't want to make a huge one so we decided to make it for her real birthday. Happy Birthday McKenzie!  Thanks for making us old!!!

McKay 5 months!

Kay Kay is getting harder and harder to shoot.  I can hear his inner monologue..."Oh wait, you want me to sit still for 2 seconds...HA! Good luck!!!"

 He sure is cute and totally worth every crazy minute!

This year instead of buying picture packets I bought the rights to the pictures so I could do what I like with them.  So here they are

McKay 4 months!!

This little stinker won't stop growing.  What a cute little man he's becoming. Masie is calling him Kay for now, that Mc part is hard for a 2 year old.   

 He's so hard to take pics of.  He wiggles so much that the block (even taped down) start sliding around.
